Total Joint Replacement
 I have had the pleasure of two Hip Replacements (if you can call pain pleasure) at the Vejthani Hospital and found that my stay and recuperation was excelled by the friendliness of the staff in Grand Wing Ward. My dear thanks to Andrea (Ms. Praweewan - Gand Wing Boss) and all of her staff. I have been fortunate to have met. There was always a smile from nurses, nurse aids, doctors and nothing was a problem. I am very sorry that my recuperation has come to an end and am leaving for Australia soon. Special thanks also to International Service staff, TJR Center staff, ICU and to the staff of Physiotherapy, where like Grand Wing nothing was a problem. If I had a Baht for the number of smiles from the staff, I'd be a very wealthy man. Once again thank you for your kindness and gratitude while at Vejthani. Your friend,

 Ich war sehr überrascht von den medizinischen Standards in Thailand. Vejthani ist ein sehr sauberes, modernes und hoch-technologisch ausgerüstetes Spital. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie versuchen jeden Wunsch des Patienten zu erfüllen, sofern es ihn ihren Möglichkeiten liegt. Im Vejthani wird der Patient als Individuum und nicht als Nummer gesehen. Das Essen ist besser als in den meisten Restaurants und ohne Zweifel besser als in anderen Spitälern. Das Menü wechselt, so bekommt man nicht jeden Tag das gleiche Essen. Die Ärzte sind sehr fürsorglich und versicherten sich so oft wie nötig, dass es mir auch gut geht. Die erste Nacht konnte ich kaum schlafen, da ich Kopfschmerzen hatte und die Schwestern häufig nach meinem Befinden sahen. Ich weiss nun, dass dies nur zu meinem Besten war. I hatte keine Probleme mit meiner Augen- und Nasenoperation, alles lief besser als ich erwartet hatte Ich werde im November zurückkommen und eine Fettabsaugung vornehmen lassen, da ich mich im Vejthani in guten Händen fühle. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist exzellent!

 In 5 decades plus in this world, I have been there, done that and had many experiences, but being at Vejthani Hospital undergoing not just one but two hip resurfacing operations, plus facial and dental work can only be described as “Awesome”! Firstly I’d like to thank Hyder and his team on putting me on the path to health to this point (communications via email, liaison, duties etc.). Then thanks go to all concerned staff (especially Dr. Viroj, Grand Wing nurses, supporting staff etc.) for their attention and caring. Because I am from another place on this planet, I will forever have fond memories of the friendly people I met here and given the chance to visit Thailand again will not hesitate call in and say hi!  Paul had wonderful care by the doctor and nurses on the 10th floor. They are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable in their care. All his needs were met. The head nurse was kind and went out of her way to make sure Paul was comfortable and recovering from his hernia surgery without complication.  "My wife, Daw Khin Khin Ohn arrived at Vejthani Hospital on 24th July 2006 and had Computer Assisted Total Knee Arthroplasty on 26th July by Dr. Viroj Larbpaiboonpong and his team. Physiotherapy immediately followed. Vejthani Hospital combines the latest in modern medicine and oriental hospitality. Doctors were efficient, nurses were kind and the international service staff were ready to assist in every way. Our two sons were with us throughout for two weeks of wonderful family reunion. Vejthani is truly a pleasantly efficient one stop medical center."

 "Just a note of thanks to Hyder, Sam, and all the staff on the 7th floor for making the visit so pleasant for Queenie & me. Please pass our special thanks and regards to everyone. The results of the hernia operation are fine. You can tell Dr. Piya that I have removed all the tapes/bandages, and the cut looks great. Doesn’t appear that there will be any kind of scar. No redness, and the puffiness is decreasing everyday. Still a little tender/sore in the area of the cut, but also decreasing each day. Very satisfied with the results."

 "I was a little nervous about travelling to the other side of the world and a hospital i only knew of thru the internet. However, the staff were so helpful and understanding that my fears were quickly put to rest. While the hospital wards are not the fanciest around, they are very adequetly equipped and professionaly staffed. We felt immediatly at home and cared for. The staff are the picture of Thai hospitality and we couldn't have asked for better service in States. I saved over 4000 US Dollars by coming to the Vejthani. However, I gained more than a monetary savings, I gained a building full of friends and if i had it to do over, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to return. Thank guys for all your Great care!

 "I had an operation on the 28th of July, total knee joint replacement. At first I had my doubts an operation in Bangkok, but now would go no where else. The hospitality of all the staff on ward 7b was out of this world and made my stay most pleasant. I am writing this 3 weeks after the operation and have been walking without any aid for one week. I had to wait for 3 weeks before I could comment on the operation, but now I have nothing but praise for Dr. Phaiboon and the staff that operated. I have had 3 past operations on this knee in the UK and every time have had pain for at least 2 days, but this time what amazes me I had no pain at all. And thanks to the farangs, on the front desk, for sorting out any problems with English Speaking patient."

Am 6. Juni 2007 wurde mir von Dr. Viroj im Vejthani Hospital ein künstliches Hüftgelenk an der rechten Seite durch MIS-Technik eingesetzt. Die Operation verlief gut und die post-operative Pflege durch Dr. Viroj und Dr. Paiboon war exzellent. Die Schwestern der Station Grand Wing waren äußerst freundlich und sachkundig. Am zweiten Tag nach der OP begann die Physiotherapie. Alle Therapeuten sind gut ausgebildet und verstehen ihr Geschäft. Dies war der wertvollste Teil der Erholungsphase. Ich war hoch erfreut, bereits am vierten Tag nach der OP ohne jede Hilfe gehen zu können. Zwei Termine Physiotherapie täglich verhalfen mir zu besserer Mobilität von Tag zu Tag. Meine Erfahrung im Vejthani Hospital war eine sehr positive, unterstützt durch die Hilfe von Hyder, Hannes und Sam vom Internationalen Schalter.
